The Moscow Ballet announces their GREAT MOSCOW NUTCRACKER Auditions on Saturday, September 9th at The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts
Ages: 6.5-9 at 12:30 - 1:30 Ages: 10 -17 at 1:30 - 2:30*(Older ballet dancers bring pointe shoes if on Pointe)
Audition and Rehearsal Location: The Pa School of Performing Arts, 2324 Second St Pike, Newtown PA
One Performance: The Beautiful University of Pennsylvania's Zellerbach Theatre Philadelphia, PA. Monday, December 18th, at 7pm.
Philadelphia area ballet students ages 6.5 to 17 are invited to audition on Saturday September 9, for student roles in Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker at Host Dance Studio Pennsylvania School of Performing Arts, 2324 Second Street Pike, Newtown, PA 18940. The Moscow Ballet audition is open to students from dance studios across the city with a minimum one year of ballet training.
Successful auditionees perform side-by-side with the Moscow Ballet company in the Great Russian Nutcracker in roles that were created exclusively for their age and skill levels such as Party Children, Mice, Snowflakes, Snow Maidens and more.
Moscow Ballet’s Anna Radik will rehearse the young dancers later this fall and at dress rehearsal with the Russian company the day of the performance. This is often a once-in-a-lifetime experience for aspiring young dancers. Auditions are FREE
First rehearsal weekend will be at PSPA STUDIOS October 14 and 15 with our Moscow Principal Ballerina.
Rehearsals will be once a week. REHEARSALS (Saturdays for snowflakes, mice, and party children) (Saturdays or Wednesdays for all others). Times TBA
