The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts Has Partnered with the Institute for American Musical Theater To Present Three Broadway In Bucks County Workshops

The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Artshas partnered with the Institute for American Musical Theater (IAMT) to present Broadway in Bucks County Workshops from 1 pm to 5 pm on the following Sundays: Sept. 30, Oct. 28, and Dec. 2.

Each workshop will feature special guests from Broadway, such as Paloma Garcia Lee, Ted Keener, Paul Schaefer, and more. These performers will teach students sample dance combinations, acting, and voice lessons from Tony Award-winning musicals. Andrew Dost, the president and co-founder of IAMT, will be teaching his signature Voice Barre class. Finally, participants will put on a mini-performance and enjoy a Q&A with the visiting performers.

Program participants also have the opportunity to audition for scholarships to IAMT’s outstanding two-year conservatory program, IAMT Prep program, and summer Broadway Bootcamp.

The Institute of American Musical Theater is a post-secondary professional training program for students 17 and up who desire to pursue a career in musical theater. Real Broadway professionals teach students how to dance, sing, act, and more. Though this institute has only been operating for two years, they have earned a reputation for getting students onto the The BROADWAY stage both before and after graduation, with alumni hired by Broadway and Broadway National Tours, Norwegian Cruise Lines, the Sacramento Music Circus, and more.

The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Artsis thrilled to be working with this incredible school to put together these three workshops. Each Broadway in Bucks County Workshop is $125 per student. Participants can also purchase tickets to all three workshops for just $325.
