Award-Winning, The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts, voted the #1 dance and training center in Bucks County was founded in 1996 by professional dancer and Broadway performer, Terri Garcia-Lee. Since then, the school has grown into the area’s most prominent and influential training center for the performing arts. Located in eastern Pennsylvania, and commissioned as the official training branch of Spirit in Motion Ballet Theater (SIMBT), PSPA studios is committed to providing the community with access to the finest dance and performing arts training available. In it's over twenty-four years of operation, The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts has helped hundreds of children achieve their performing arts dreams and have watched alumni go on to successful professional careers on Broadway, in the Rockettes, and various professional ballet companies.
The Virtual & In Studio School
Studies indicate that proper training in dance and music often provide a key element in helping children and young adults discover well-balanced physical and emotional development in all areas of their life. PSPA incorporates the high standards of New York Professional dance studios into a non-competitive environment that nurtures and encourages students to express themselves through the beautiful images of theater, ballet, jazz. modern and contemporary dance.
Our teaching staff is comprised of arts professionals including master ballet instructors from Russia's Bolshoi Ballet Company, Pennsylvania Rock School, Princeton Ballet, New York City Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, The Alvin Ailey Dance Company, and Manhattan Dance Project. We also offer a number of masterclass series throughout the year with master teachers such as Debbie Rosche from Steps on Broadway and Bill Hotaling from Manhattan Dance Project.
Located in Newtown, Bucks County, PA, offers Classical dance training in ballet, pointe, jazz, acro, modern tap, lyrical, hip-hop, children's classes and more. PSPAstudios students come from the NE Phila, Doylestown, Warminster, Buckingham, Furlong, Willow Grove, Newtown, Yardley, New Hope, Solebury, Upper Makefield, Lower Makefield, Langhorne, Richboro, Holland, and surrounding areas.
