Discover the Joy of Tap Dancing Class (Your First One is Free!)
Have you always wanted to learn tap dancing but never had the chance? It’s not too late! Come to our tap dancing class (your first one is FREE!), where we teach teens and children the art of Broadway Tap.
Clip, Click, and Kick!
Here at the Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts (PSPA), all of our tap classes are taught in our newly-renovated tap studio. This studio is an intimate setting where you will enjoy up-close instruction and correction.
Our free classes will introduce you to basic tap technique and help you to improve your rhythm and musicality. Then, if you move on to our more advanced courses, you will explore the evolution of tap through the decades and try out exciting new styles and combinations.
Don’t Own a Pair of Tap Shoes?
No stress! You don’t need tap shoes for your first lesson. A pair of rubber bottom character heels or jazz shoes will work just fine as you learn your first steps. If you have a great time at our course, then we can recommend a fantastic (and budget-friendly!) pair of buckle tap shoes.
Are You Looking for Your Tribe?
At PSPA, we are always excited to welcome new students to our family. Whether you’re 3-5 or 16-18, you will find a community of like-minded people at our school. We foster a kind, welcoming, and non-judgemental disciplined arts environment, where dancers and their families put heart into everything they do.
Don’t Forget About Our Free Weekly Acro Class!
We will also be offering FREE acro classes for beginners near Doylestown, PA. In this course, adults and teens from the community will learn how to combine the beauty and musicality of classical dance techniques with the strength and flexibility of acrobatic performance.
Do You Know a Child Who Loves to Tap Their Feet?
From the Babies Dance Academy (starting age 3) to Creative Broadway Stars (5 to 7) and beyond, our academy will teach your child the art of tap! We also help them to build character and inspire them to give back to their community.
