2nd Annual Moscow Ballet Week-long Summer Intensives

June 21st  - June 26th, 2020

Boys and Girls

Ages 8-12 Int ( Must have 3 years of Ballet Training ) 

Ages 12 + ADV and Girls on Pointe ( Must have 3 years of Ballet Training )

Open to ballet students intermediate through advanced levels. The Moscow Ballet comprehensive program provides a positive and supportive environment for student dancers to develop their technical and artistic ballet skills. It is a unique opportunity for young dancers to study Russian ballet technique and repertory one-on-one with Moscow Ballet Soloists and Instructors Yuriy Kuzo and Alisa Bolotnikova

You must register with The PA School of the Performing Arts AND with Moscow Ballet.

Classes:

  • Vaganova Ballet Class

  • Pointe

  • Character/Folkloric 

  • Partnering

  • Variations from classical ballets

  • Jumps and Turns

  • Core, turnout and feet exercises

 
Program Outline:

  • Sunday, June 21, 2020  1-2:30 pm : Placement class.  

  • Monday-Friday June 22 - 26, 2020 : 5 classes per day

  • Student demonstration at the end of the week

  • $650, no additional fees

  • 50% non-refundable deposit ( $325) due to the Host Studio upon registration 

  • Final payment of $325 is due BEFORE May 21, 2020 to The PA School of the Performing Arts, one month prior to the placement class

Attire:

Girls:
Black leotard
Pink tights; warmers are fine
Pink ballet slippers; pointe shoes if on pointe
Hair pulled away from the face in a bun or pinned back; headbands are fine
No bows or ornamental hairpieces or jewelry

Boys:
Black tights; warmers are fine
Black or white dance shirt
Black ballet slippers
Hair pulled away from the face
