PSPA members had a wonderful time going up to NYC to see Paloma Garcia - Lee in a few of her new Musical Theater Broadway Shows "ON THE TOWN", " Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, THE GREAT COMET" Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Based on a Passage from War and Peace with Josh Groban" . This year we are going to go see her in her New Broadway Show "Moulin Rouge"!
As our yearly field trips to New York City for classes and Broadway show field trips are always so much fun, our dancers also like auditioning, as well as taking classes up in NYC together in the city all year long.

The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts award winning #1 Voted Best Dance School in Bucks County welcomes Broadway performers Paul A. Schaefer and Paloma Garcia-Lee to their Newtown studio for a special and exclusive workshop geared towards students between the ages of 10-12 and 13 - 20.
Paul A. Schaefer is currently in PHANTOM on Broadway and is the understudy for both The Phantom and Raoul. Paloma Garcia-Lee, a buck’s county native, spent 4 years in PHANTOM both on Broadway and in the National Touring Company, as Meg Giry. She joined the show when she was 17 years old and is one of the youngest performers ever hired for the show and the youngest to play Meg.
Paloma was most recently seen now on Broadway in "ON THE TOWN" and also the Asst Dance Captain and before that she was in" Guys and Dols" with Nathan Lane and "Nice Work If You Can Get It" starring Matthew Broderick and Kelli O'Hara. This power Broadway married couple are very excited to be offering this exclusive workshop only to The Pennsylvania School of The Performing Arts Voted #1 Best Dance School in Bucks County, in Newtown, Pa 18940.
Students will work with the CURRENT Broadway’s Phantom cover, Mr. Paul Schaefer and Ms. Paloma Garcia – Lee, who played Meg Giry at the young age of 17 on Broadway and in the National Tour of The Phantom of the Opera.
This is a one day wonderful Broadway Workshop, that is exclusive only to The PA School of the Performing Arts workshop with two of the finest teachers in musical theatre.
This Phantom Workshop will focus on all areas of performing!
Two groups: Singers that Dance/Move and Dancers that Sing!
These two powerful Broadway actors will work with both groups of performers, Singers and Dancers, to help their musical performances soar to the next level!
Students will so get to work on music selections from the show, learn choreography from the show, work on the process of an audition, as well as learn the process of putting it all together at the end of the day.
At the end of the workshop, parents and friends are invited for a special in studio rehearsal performance, to see the process of putting it all together. Then a very special Q & A with both Ms. Garcia & Mr. Schaefer for the students and parents! This will be a great time to ask all those questions that you have about being on Broadway, the inside show business scene, and how to land a part in a Broadway show!

Paul is currently performing in Broadway’s The Phantom of the Opera ( The Phantom cover, Raoul cover, Marksman, ). National tour credits: Thoroughly Modern Millie(Jimmy/Trevor u/s). Off-Broadway credits: My Life With Albertine. Regional credits: Beauty and the Beast. TV: Law and Order, Guiding Light. Mr. Schaefer is a graduate of the University of Michigan, and a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association.

Paloma Garcia-Lee is now on Broadway in "ON THE TOWN " as Asst Dance Captain and was just in "Guys and Dolls" with Nathan Lane and was recently seen at the Imperial Theater in "Nice Work If You Can Get It" , the smash hit Broadway musical starring Matthew Broderick and Kelli O'Hara. Paloma was also recently seen lighting up the stage as “Meg Giry” in Broadway's “The Phantom of the Opera.” An accomplished actress, singer and dancer, she joined PHANTOM at the Majestic Theater at the young age of 17. Paloma is one of the youngest performers ever hired for the production and the youngest to ever play “Meg.” She is also the first person hired for the Broadway show to have been born after PHANTOM began its run in New York in 1988.
