Calling All Male & Female Dancers

Ages : 8-12 & 12-18 ( Must be 8 by October 1st)

WHEN: August each day 21 -22 -23

From 1:00pm -2:30pm

Ballet Barre & Ballet & or Contemporary Combo

Girls: Come in Ballet Leotard and pink tights - Ballet slippers - If on pointe - Bring Pointe Shoes

Boys : White t shirt - Any color Sweat Pants - Socks or Dance Shoes -

Fee: $25 audition fee ( AUGUST WORKSHOP audition fee is waived if you are already signed up for the august 21st -23rd workshop)

Time: 1pm -2:30 pm

**There is a standard Company fee per month. This fee has been the same for over 7 years and please note that specific class requirements of Ballet Classes on either Monday, Tuesday, ( Wednesday or Saturday ) & Thursdays. Company Info Packet will be at Auditions. Some details provided below.

The dance company's structure will be the same as year's past, the only major difference is that we are going to attend ONE or TWO Workshops / 2- 3 Performance competition in order to gain exposure to a competitive dance scene, and to learn from professionals and other teachers. We are not becoming a studio solely based on competitions as we believe that our foundation in technique classes is important to our school; we will still be the same wonderful studio our children have been attending!

We are going to dance at the North Hampton Days in September and will be having a rehearsal the first week of classes

Company & Competition Company Requirements

Required Classes

Younger 8 to 11 Petite Company : 2 Ballet 2 Contemporary or Jazz classes - DEPENDING ON LEVEL Monday & Thursday or Monday & Tuesday Older level is Tuesday & Thursday and ( Wednesday Or Saturdays ) .

Jr Company ( Classes Tuesday & Thursday)

11 /12+ or by level

2 Ballet Tuesdays & Thursday's & 2 Jazz/Fusion /Contemporary Tuesday, and/ Thursday’s minimum of four classes a week and Wednesday or Saturday .

Teens 13 + Classes (Tuesday & Thursday ) PLUS Pre pointe-Pointe on Tuesday - Thursday

2 Ballet Tuesdays & Thursday's & 2 Jazz/Fusion /Contemporary Tuesday, and/ Thursday’s

HIP HOP CREW TEAMS

• If you are selected in the HIP HOP competition team commitment is either on Mondays -same day as classes

• HIP HOP Dance Company rehearsals are on Mondays and may need to come to a weekend or Saturdays as we get closer to performances Just ONE DAY A WEEK!

If you are chosen for a solo you will have extra rehearsals and fees

Students ages: must be 7.5-11 for our 2 Petite/Junior company & 12 -18 years old for our Teen Company in order to be eligible for any of all competition teams

If you are chosen to be in any of our Competition Teams or Company you will have a Parent /Dancer Meeting on Thursday Sept 8th at 8:30 or Sept 10th at 12 noon TBA for those who have auditioned -
